Ms. Johnson and Ms. Gagnon will take a group of students for a thrilling adventure to the new interactive, best-of-Chicago museum at the Skydeck at Willis Tower and then up to the Ledge. Kids will have a personal guided experience with the Skydeck Manager, and will cap off their visit with an afternoon treat of Chicago's very own Do-Rite Donuts! (generously donated by Skydeck, EQ Office, and Kirsten Ekdahl Hull, FXW Parent)

"Kaleidoscope Dream" - (2nd Grade - Rm33)

A flurry of colors and marks through the eyes of our 2nd graders. Students utilized the wet-on-wet technique to create an array of kaleidoscopic watercolor backgrounds that organically yet harmoniously merge into each other. They then used their vivid imaginations to add purposeful markings to the water colored creations. The finished material was meticulously cut into hexagonal shapes to add structure and collaged onto canvas, hence offering a beautiful contrast.
